New Research Finds at Least 3.000 confirmed Indian Residential School Deaths

At least 3,000 children, including four under the age of 10 found huddled together in frozen embrace, are now known to have died during attendance at Canada's Indian residential schools, according to new unpublished research.

Canada is investing in youth entrepreneurship after the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment identified that youth enter the marketplace at three times the rate of entrepreneurs over 45.  Additionally, a third of Canada's youth-owned enterprises are located in Ontario.  Full article.

9.2% of Children Have Experienced an Adverse Event in Paediatric Care

In the just released "Canadian Paediatric Adverse Events Study", researchers found that the overall rate of adverse events in children hospitalized in Canada is 9.2%.  This research was carried out to identify the potential risks to children in hospitals and to inform efforts to make paediatric health care safer.
